Just doing test of a wild boar on my trail camera

Summer Deer Cam Pictures. I’m off to a slow start this summer and was happy to get these pics.

I’m curious to know from other hunter how to set up your trail camera. Please feel free to share pics and explain what your techniques are ie.,what time of day, scent control, flash vs. no flash, etc. Personally, I have been successful with scent control when I enter a hunting area, I try to make my camera runs at noon during preseason, Plus I always face north or south on a tree, sometime i climb one stick high and angle down just for security and dif style pics as well. I usually try to position early season cams on food or mineral sources. This first camera is a mineral source with a creek to the right and food source to the left with a man made trail in between. I’m def ready to go pull some of my other cards and ill snap pics of my setups there as well….

My Deercam early growth project. I went out and checked on a few of my trail cameras today, and got a few good shots of this buck showing some really good early season growth and going to keep an eye on this one as things progress.
