Hello all I hope my post is accepted. I hunt in Washington State and it rains a lot in turkey season up here. I am new to the state and was wondering if I should use the same hunting method as if it was clear weather or do you suggest other tactics? In season, I normally set up a blind set in a corner of a semi-open field, about 3-5 feet in a tree line.  Finally,  this is my second year so any tips sure would be useful, such as calls, sents, camouflage, or anything else you think would be important. I am looking for a good affordable 12 gauge pump shotgun for deer hunting. Is there a shotgun on the market that can cover multiple uses? Like defense, hunting, sporting? I want to use slugs for deer hunting but I know that slugs would not be a reasonable home defense ammunition. Any suggestion or advice?
