My first attempt at a Mule deer mount. I made my own plaques and finally finished up my euro mounts from this past season. Masceration seemed to take much longer than normal. I wasn’t getting good bacterial growth, I guess because of the cooler temps during the winter. The Magnus Buzzcut plaque took a couple tries before I got it right. The first two are my bow kills, and the second two are a couple management mule deer I took.

My Springfield Illinois pictures
May 10th, 2010
You will notice that most of these are from winter and fall. That is when my car last worked properly, allowing me to travel all over, on last moment’s notice. Now its dead in the garage, after a trip I took to Millstone Bluffs last week. These are some of my personal favorites from the previous year. The only editing I do is with cropping, and some minor light and color adjustment on Picasa( I love free!).
Macomb (north of Springfield) (My gf in the pic) Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. (between Macomb and Springfield) Around Mount Vernon:
i liked the dark blued of the sky on this one Rend Lake:
