More beginner fishing tips needed.
August 21st, 2010
More beginner fishing tips needed for my friend and I. We fish our local reservoir (catch/Release) for now, hoping to do some shore/beach fishing when it cools down a bit. Anyway, I’ve have a lightly equipped tackle box with a few lures, weights, bobbers, and a few other stuff or junk Wal-mart thinks you should buy. Now it’s time to string my reel and my rod is a Scout rod with a Shakespear Pro-Am 350 rotating handle? I am confused on what the gear ratio does? Mine is 3.2:1 and my friend has a 5.2:1.Any tips will be appreciated.

Your fishing gear bookmarks
August 7th, 2010
![]() Hello all looking to fill up the tackle (garage) box and also looking for your favorite fishing gear bookmarks. Any websites you would suggest to buy fishing gear/tackle online? I’m looking for good selection, competitive prices, easy navigation, and (most importantly) great user experience. I know about Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops but don’t have any experience with them. I’m looking for anything from huge websites that sell everything fishing related but more to small websites that focus on unique few products. Please help me out.

10′ Zodiac with 15hp Merc
May 16th, 2010
Well it looks like I have to sell my 10′ Zodiac (Series 3.1) that comes with a 2 stroke 15 hp Mercury short shaft. I have a rock hopper installed on the motor to protect the prop in shallow water conditions. Also comes with some extras like a spare used prop, grease gun, small anchor, seat frame plus two swivel seats.
Also comes on a trailer to tow the whole setup away on that has two spare tires as well. Leave contact message. $1400
