Seems like we haven’t done this in a while, anyone want to share Bowhunting rig pictures? I just added a new sight to my bow over the weekend, it was on my list of gear I wanted to get before season opened. 3 of the 5 pins on my sight got busted last fall in one freak accident and the sight light was not great. I went with another TruGlo, the Super Slam 5-Pin. So far I love it, very bright, very well-made, easy to adjust, and the sight light is perfect.

And yes, I know, we need some new targets.

The bow in the picture below is  for sale and I was thinking about picking it up for my brother. Anyone have experience with a Sterner Duttera- Rhino?  It’s a great price and has me more then tempted.

I saw this bow on another forum and just could not believe how nice it looks and the owner says it’s awesome. The forum is a bit “clickish” so I thought I’d post it here to get a valid response because I want to buy the same exact one. Any bowhunters here on Huntreport familiar with this manufacturer? It is just a beauty………….

A couple of notes, the sticker on the bottom limb which tells draw weight and length etc..is missing…and I just noticed the other day that one the cams has a Cam 1/2 plus sticker on it, but I assure everyone these are Spiral X cams….

The only marks on the whole set up is where the sight slides, and a few scuffs on the v-bar where the stablizers meet it…..the bow itself has no scratches, dings, or chips…as close to new as you can get without going and getting one…

Here are some pics.

We had a good time Bowhunting Africa and I did most of my hunting from a tree stand, plus we moved around a lot. It was a treat to be up high where I could see all the critters moving around me. Many hunting grounds had (this area) more Warthogs than any place I have ever hunted. Most days I saw at least 20, mostly not on the trail I was hunting but still fun. I did manage to shoot 3 Warthogs, 1 Impala, 1 Mountain Reed buck, 1 Wildebeest and a Zebra. Lisa killed 6 Wart hogs and 2 Impala. We were hunting with my close friends from Oklahoma. They all took a lot of animals themselves and out guide recently acquired the rights to the 15,000 ac place we hunted and was busy adding new pit blinds. Myself, I enjoyed hunting away from the water on a trail leading up to a small lake. The critters seemed a lot calmer away from the water than they do once they are at it.
